^Lot 270 Winchester Model 70 'Featherweight' .243 Win

SN: 360502 'Pre-64' 'Classic Featherweight' Light weight controlled round feed bolt action sporting rifle chambered in .243 Winchester, manufactured circa 1956. Features a blued finish, matte receiver, 22" tapered barrel, hooded, ramped blade/bead front & folding, adjustable 'white diamond' rear sights, factory drilled & tapped receiver, serrated trigger, polished bolt with three position safety on the rear, 5 round internal box magazine with hinged floorplate and smooth walnut pistol grip shoulder stock with checkered alloy buttplate. Rifle exhibits approximately 85% of it's original blued finish with handling wear on the bolt knob & bottom metal, some minor scratches/rubs. Action is smooth, the bore is excellent/bright, and the wood stock is is overall very good/sound with some minor scratches. Mounted with a Redfield I' Tube 3X-9X scope with Duplex reticle, clear optics, Buehler bases & rings. M1907 style brown leather sling attached.
